Alissa Harris, PMHNP

Hello! My name is Alissa Harris. I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (DNP)

I am a Utah native who enjoys the outdoors ideally where water is around. I hate the cold, but force myself to enjoy snowboarding to get through the long winters. My best friend is a 13-year old lab/pit/pointer mutt named Kira. 

I graduated from the University of Utah’s Doctor of Nursing Program in May 2023. This rigorous academic pursuit included an exhaustive 800+ hour clinical immersion, where I honed my expertise in medication management and psychotherapy. My clinical focus is with children, teens and young adults where I provide specialized care for an array or mental health concerns. 

I want to give back hope. We don’t choose the lives we are given, and with the right tools we can all achieve a life worth living. We just need to find the right tools.
