Becky completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Family Studies at Weber State University with a Minor in Psychology in 2018. She then graduated with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Utah in May of 2023.

Becky has always enjoyed talking to, listening to, and learning about people. She believes we are all humans who deserve respect and are worthy to take up space. No human is perfect, we all make mistakes, feel vulnerable and are not alone in our pain and suffering.

Becky works with Children (6+), adolescents, and adults by providing individual therapy. Becky has experience working with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and specific phobias. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure and response prevention therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness. Becky understands each client is an expert in themselves and incorporates their knowledge and opinion in each treatment plan.

Becky enjoys being outdoors and getting into the mountains. She loves hiking, camping, riding dirt bikes, and spending time with friends and family. She can also be found snuggled on the couch in a cozy blanket reading a good book or watching a movie. She is most distracted when it comes to dogs and can’t wait to own another one someday.

Becky believes we can be our own worst critics and say things to ourselves we would never say to others we love and care for. We can learn to use our powerful minds and learn new skills and techniques to change the way we process and navigate our thoughts and feelings. We can learn to live in the present and enjoy each moment instead of watching life pass by us.

Becky’s goal is to work collaboratively with you and support you in your journey by creating and holding a safe space where you are seen, heard, and can heal.
